Different Ways of Learning from the Masters
Naked, seated on a chair against the white wall of a room, Peniche confronts a book bearing the names of Joan Brossa and Joseph Beuys on its cover: «El otro» (The Other). He holds it in front of his face, opens it over his head, tears out its pages, rolls them up, puts them to his mouth and nose, and ends with his face covered in cut-out words.

Chocolate al desnudo (Naked Chocolate)
“A performance in which temptation is not always your best adviser, and something as simple as a little taste can lead you to an unwanted end.” That is how Peniche introduced it.
It took place at the opening of his solo show at Novo Galeria d’Art, with Ricky Henao. Dressed in white, Peniche covers a model’s body in chocolate, ends up lying on the gallery floor and finishes, among the audience, with his own torso covered in chocolate.

FAIM 07 promotional performances
To promote FAIM 07, the Madrid Independent Art Fair where he exhibited, Peniche took part in a series of street performances outside Madrid’s great museums: the Prado, the Thyssen and the Reina Sofía. Videos directed by Julio Esteban and Igor Domsac.
